Don't remember anyone posting this before, but we have stayed at AKV before and not received. Received this via email - it is called the Sundown Mingle.

I know it is a pitch as it is held at Jambo House and also open to guests at AKL, but think it is a smart and easy way to get people there without having to take a separate trip to SSR. I may actually go to it as we are planning a hotel evening (Boma/Jiko tour at 4, Sanaa at 6:30, pool or firepit) on one of the days it is offered, so fits right in. (sorry could not get the top portion of the image showing savanna to import)

How far ahead of time did you get that? I have a trip at Jambo house in about 50 days. I wonder if I'll get one.

We went to one of the ones they had at BLT. It was fun and they give prizes. I would go.

Go it about 10 days prior, email came on Tuesday and we fly down next Friday.

I received the same email about 3 days ago. We will be at AKV on Monday of next week. So happy to be going home.

I received it and attended. However, what caught me off guard was when signing up they had no space and I needed to call
Back at 2 Pm for availability. When I called back at 2 pm there was space and was informed that they first try and include non-DVC members first. All about the sales!
