Default Car rental

Do we get any DVC or AP discounts for car rentals?

What agencies are at the car care center?

Are there better deals to be found with other renal companies?

Looking to rent a car in Hilton Head for a few days, then drive down to WDW. Am I going to get killed on fees for not returning to the same location?

Thanks.

No discount I am aware of.

You can use wholesale club discount code if you are member of any.

I believe only Enterprise is at car care center.

We just did one way rental from airport to cruise terminal, one day was about $100.

Alamo and National are there. Just picked up a National a few weeks back. Fortunately I have a companycontract through work to rent on. I had a 1 way to Port Canaveral for $62.

At WDW car care center we are renting from Alamo. I think no discounts for AP or DVC . Getting midsize SUV for 4 days (Saturday -Tuesday) for $190.

Try using Autoslash.com

After you find the best deal you can, log into Autoslash and enter the details of your contract. Over the next few weeks they will notify you of better deals based on coupons and sales they uncover. Their sale email will give you just a few hours to log in and secure the new price, so don't delay.

You can limit their searches to specific companies if you have member points, or a club status you are trying to maintain. Otherwise they will find all sorts of rental companies. For instance, Advantage and Fox can actually be too cheap, and not provide a decent service, so be careful accepting deals from Autoslash that seem too good to be true.

Give it a whirl. At a minimum, you'll save about 15%.

On our last trip I joined the Alamo Insiders Club (for free) and it was by far the best deal and I could check in online the day before so I didnít have to wait in line when we arrived. I just walked to the garage, handed the woman the printed receipt and she let me pick any car I wanted. It was great! Easy to return as well. National also has an Emerald Club (also free to join) where you donít have to wait in line, but they were more expensive.

I have found some decent rates with Costco in the past.

Thanks, all. I guess I'll be stalking car rentals agencies for a while.

Take the best deal I can find now and keep checking...just like I do for SW flights!

We found some great deals the last couple of years using the AAA app (in case you're a member) on the iPhone. Select the "Rent A Car" option. The deals we found were even better than Costco, which we use a lot as well.

I always use Costco Travel - I like that the fees they quote include all taxes - lately lowest prices have been through Alamo
