Default Beverage Tasting Series at Reunion Station

Sample delicious craft cocktails or New World wines as you unwind in a relaxing setting. Members and special guests are invited to join us for this weekly Beverage Tasting Series at Reunion Station at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge in Florida.

Highlights

Learn about some of your favorite beverages—or try something new! Our weekly Beverage Tasting Series is a fun opportunity to taste craft cocktails or delectable wines.
Choose from 2 distinctive sessions:
  • Speak Easy Craft Cocktails: Sample lively libations as you immerse yourself in the era of prohibition and create homemade cocktails with a little help from our bootleggers!
  • New World Wines: Sample wine varietals from the Pacific during an immersive and interactive tasting session.
Each tasting session also includes a small-plate food pairing that complements the beverage served.

Price
  • $40 per person (inclusive of tax and gratuity)
Reservations
Book in advance—as early as April 4, 2018—by calling Member Services at (800) 800-9800†. Full payment is required at the time of booking, with a credit card guarantee. Reservations are required and space is limited.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made 48 hours in advance to avoid surrendering the full payment. To cancel, call Member Services at (800) 800-9800.†
Important Information
  • Valid Disney Vacation Club Membership Card and photo I.D. required at check-in.
  • Guests must be 21 years of age with a photo I.D. to attend this event and consume alcohol. Other accommodations should be made for Guests under 21 years of age.
  • Disney Dining Plan Entitlements cannot be used for this experience.
  • Culinary Magic Experiences are not eligible for additional special offers or discounts, including the Disney Vacation Club Member 10% food and beverage discount.
  • Party size limit of the Member and up to 3 guests—for a total of up to 4 people.
  • Please allow up to 1.5 hours for travel to your destination.
  • Menu items, pricing and hours are subject to change without notice.

And in the early afternoon too!

This makes drinking around the world in 10-12 hours look positively tame.

I wonder how much you could actually drink at one of these....

Nice touch, but yes not cheap. I’m sure I’ll do it at some point if it sticks around.

I would actually like to do the class in the afternoon that teaches you how to take better park and fireworks pictures with your phone! If anyone does this, please write a quick review!

It all depends on the quality of the alcohol that they're pouring. If you are tasting 5 glasses with roughly 1 oz pours ( 750ml bottle = roughly 25 oz) that would equal 1 glass of wine. If you use the common restaurant wine mark up of 100% that would be a $200 bottle at Disney or $100 retail. It is not real hard to find a $100 bottle of wine in Napa.

That being said I would guess they will pour the normal "by the glass" plonk that probably cost them under $20 a bottle so yes they will be making some money off of this but I would not suspect people will be stumbling out of the building after the event.
