There is this. But with the number of nights we're there in a year, my liver would take a beating if I made TiW worth it on alcohol. Besides, DS happy hours make up for a lot of this

Cheers.

I was getting angry because the couple three places ahead of me on line were taking so long to pay. Then I found out they had just bought my wife and me breakfast. Shame on me.

We have had it every trip non-DVC and DVC. However, not sure next time. Next time all 5 of us will be Disney Adults. We found that it was in our favor when at least 2 were kids and breakeven when it dropped to only 1 kid.

We are considering Breakfast and light dinner at the Villa and a big TS for Lunch next trip. That will eliminate the Dining plan for us. We still have time to decide.

We did it once when it was free and we stayed at a mod so the free dining was a better deal than a room discount. Never again. It was A LOT of food. My husband doesn't like dessert so I ended up eating both of ours which I do not need! And I don't like having a ton of sit down reservations. Too much stress getting everywhere on time. Now we cook breakfast in the room most of the time, and make sandwiches or grill on the barbecue for lunch. If we want to sit down at dinner we see whats available that night and decide.

I liked it when my kids were younger. They could get snacks in the park or order what they wanted from the menu -- guilt free. If we hadn't had the plan, my husband would have been too focused on the spending. It was a (negative) learned behavior from his father, who was a tightwad (for no reason).

Nothing spoils a vacation to me more than unnecessary penny pinching and making the kids forgo a treat on a WDW trip because it is a "waste of money".

I always explained to DH that once we got home, he WASN'T going to go over what was spent. He wasn't going to think about it at all, as a matter of fact.
