We did the sleigh ride at Ft Wilderness last year and had a great time. There are a ton of folks that go all-out with Christmas decorations.

Does anyone know if the resort decorations are up yet. I seem to remember things like the gingerbread house going up just after Thanksgiving. But Christmas has been creeping earlier and earlier everywhere else - no reason it canít start earlier at WDW as well.

We really enjoy the Christmas Tree Trail at Disney Springs, it is fun to see the designers interpretations of the themes. In the parks, i have to say my favorite is Cinderella Castle. Always brings tears to my eyes.

Anywhere you go, though, the decorations are just beautiful. We watched a couple of shows last night on how all the work behind the scenes transforms every part of WDW in to a holiday wonderland...overnight!!

Slow down and take it all in...it is spectacular! Enjoy Candlelight Processional too!! Even with a dining package, get there a little early to get a good seat.

Really,

How do they not let you walk anymore...?

That is a shame. I really enjoyed it. One year, I rented a golf cart for the day, so we could just drive around.

I love sleigh rides. (love horses... off track - I wish Saratoga Springs actually had some horses kinda like busch gardens. with beer / wine would be fabulous with the ponies....

I'll have to try the sleigh ride someday.

The chocolate carousel is really cool! I like the giant gingerbread houses, too (Contemporary, I think).
