Exciting! Looking forward to running that day too. Hope this is just a temporary glitch and not a big change in the works, as we are already booked at dvc. RunDisney races are a blast!

Actually, they did it for the right reasons this time- weather. For two consecutive years the race was negatively impacted by weather. In the penultimate year they ran in the bad weather and, from what I'm told, it sucked. We ran the final year and they delayed about an hour, then cut the half to little more than a 10K. Then they moved it to a better-weather time of day.

I'd never put money-grubbing past Disney- Walt was certainly a great mentor on revenue and profit- but I think that they did the right thing this time, as much as I don't like it.

Cheers.

For anyone that might be interested, the post-race party tickets are now on sale.

I'm registered for the 10K, so I purchased my post-race party ticket today.

My understanding is that if you are registered for the 1/2 marathon or the two course challenge your marathon registration fee includes entrance to the post-race party.

Happy training! Hope to see you at the race!
