Just wanted to add one thing, so you know ahead of time. A friend of mine was planning to take lots of photos -on his phone. Not gonna happen!

They do not allow you to take anything loose. Cameras are fine as long as you have a strap or something to attach it to you. But phones, cash, wallet etc all need to be left in lockers. Medical supplies is another matter, but let them know in advance, I assume the guides would carry them for you or something.

They take loads of pictures, so you don't really need to worry too much about taking your own.

I'm really hoping to do this one time. Looking forward to a report

I am a COMPLETE rule follower.

Expect to have a great time - and not worried about safety.

Thanks!!

(Seriously, they have double and triple safety precautions where needed.)

We’ll see. I’ve wanted to do this trip for a few years now, so I’ve looked it up numerous times. Nothing really worries me about it.

But, I LOVE your quote.

Curious- if I were going to book this for my son and a friend would I be able to book with discount through MS if I am not going on the tour?

I will be in AK that day anyway if they need to see membership card if needed.

You'll love this tour! One of my husband & my absolute top experiences at WDW! No tips for you - the guides will have you absolutely covered. All you need to do is enjoy every moment of the experience, which should be no problem at all

Phones can be carried if it is in a case that can be strapped to you. I have used my phone as a camera both times that I have done the trek.

All in all, it was a great experience. I did it first thing in the morning both times. One because it is a more peaceful experience overall and then the heat issue when I did it in June.

NICE! Mine was $201, and there wasn’t a discount because I’d it being an 8am slot.

Haha! I read about the “no break for 2 hours”. No drink at all that morning.
