Maybe my memory is bad, but I believe they added the ability to modify your search without having to go back to the original search screen.

Now when you get your search results, there's a bar at the top where you can edit the date, room type, and resort. IIRC the "old new" system did not have that option.

That was there previously.

Yup, see the change too. Just Disney IT justifying their job I guess.

Personally, I don't see the new system that much better over the old system, and there were things that were better in the old system that didn't carry over to the new one. The whole revamp seems like a massive waste of money that I assume DVC members pay for (do we?). I get the feeling that those the write the code for the DVC website are not owners nor do they get feedback from owners when making IT decisions.

Yup we pay and DVC gets 12% of everything that gets spent as profit. Changes are good for them $$$$.

Honestly this is the type of change I had been wanting for many many months now. So to me, this is a very welcome change. Much easier to find everything.

At least I understand why the grocery store re-arranges things.

This latest DVC change felt like re-arranging the deck chairs on the Titanic.

I would sure hope not. There are undoubtedly people whose job it is to get feedback from customers and turn that into proper Requirements Specifications. Having developers get any feedback directly from customers about "features" is absolutely the wrong way to do any software development.

Cheers.
