Default Pokemon Go & Disney

Yesterday, DH and DD started playing Pokemon Go. Today I joined them. After a friend commented on how many Pokemon were running around Disney World, a quick google search indicates there are more than 30 PokeStops in Disney Springs alone.

Well, this news likely saves us some money. There will be no need to buy DH park tickets any longer. He will spend all our Disney time running around Disney Springs PokeStops to refill his PokeBalls so he can catch Pokemon.

I will pray that my daughter does not read this! I want a quiet vacation in 3 weeks, not one that includes Emily chasing Pokémon all over DS! Right now, I'm still getting to take a solo trip. This could potentially cost me another plane ticket and a LOT of peace and quiet!

Maybe this will get my DS 17 to want to visit WDW again.

I hate Pokemon Go. That's all we need is more people walking around Disney World aimlessly.

Okay, 14 levels into Pokemon Go, we are having a ton of fun with this game. DH is okay with me taking a quick overnight trip down to WDW next weekend to check out PokeDisney, which is the best thing I can think of to call playing Pokemon Go at Walt Disney World.

grayandry - per your point, we try not to be "that guy" when playing the game.

We are going next weekend to Disney for a long weekend, and my DH has already been reading about it. I think I may get some quiet time while DH, DS and DD play Pokemon Go.

It's just the long-predicted Zombie Apocalypse. Problem?

Not into PKMGO but I am wondering if anybody signed up for the Disney Visa offer for Disney emoji? What was that all about?

When we were there a couple weeks ago right after the game launched in the us. most of the people we saw were running around just trying to find a strong enough cell signal to get the game to work. I had no idea what they were trying to do until my brother inlaw told me the angry looking warning screen ment no connection.

As a parent i would be furious if i spent thousands of dollars on a vacation just for my kid to stare at their phone all week. As if we dont do that enough when were at home.
