I would love to try both Homecoming and STK. Morimoto was my first choice, but several friends have gone there and given it medium reviews. I have heard great things about Homecoming. And they have fresh donuts on their menu. #win

Pretty much this (including Jock's). When at the Boathouse be sure to take a stroll around the dock and check out the boats that are on display.

We tried Morimoto's for lunch shortly after they opened and we were not impressed. The wife did try Frontera and liked it but it is more of an order at the counter then find a seat kind of place.

We have ressies for Homecoming when we are down there at Christmas so we are looking forward to giving it a try.

I dined at Homecoming last month for the first time. Hands down one of the best meals I've ever had at Disney. Is it a signature dining experience? No, but the food was outstanding. Fried chicken & donuts! I left there in a food coma. We're going back again over Christmas & I can't wait. Can't recommend Homecoming highly enough. Comfort food at it's best.

My DH and I went to STK during our September trip.

IT WAS AWFUL!!!

Bad food and service!

We were hoping for a delicious dinner and an enjoyable evening with just the two of us and it was anything but that!

We shared the scallops (only good food we had), shared the "For 2" porterhouse steak (that had gristle running through it that you absolutely could not cut through!!), 2 sides, dessert, and 3 drinks. The meal for the two of us was almost $280.

We never mind paying for a good dinner with good service and look forward to those evenings and that's what we expected from STK.

We weren't surprised by the cost, but we were shocked by the bad food and non-existent service.

We won't be returning...ever!

We have not tried all the new DS restaurants yet, but Boathouse really stood out....which earned my vote.

I voted Boathouse in the poll because it gets universally high marks and we really want to try it on our next trip.

The only one on the list that we have tried is Homecoming and we loved it. Will go back in a heartbeat. And completely agree with House of Blues as a must do.

It's Chef Art Smith's Homecoming on the list. It's located in the new section of DS near D-Luxe Burger.

Thanks, I was looking under Homecoming instead of Chef. Menu looks interesting. Will have to give it a try next month.
