Do they practice cheers on the bus like the Brazilians do?

I guess we'll find out for ourselves in May. Our granddaughter's squad will be there and we will get to see them compete.

We like the weather in February. Not too hot and not as cold as Dec /Jan can be.

Definitely try to avoid the Princess Race Weekend.

If a group of cheerleaders enters a counter service restaurant before you, walk quickly away. The food will not be worth it.

OMG....yes....

Once, we got caught on a bus with two groups of cheerleaders which lead to a cheer off.......that was the absolute worse.

Masses of teen girl cheer leaders, at Disney........What could go wrong?

I think Feb is a winter break for many of the northern schools, maybe Presidents Day week, so be aware of that as well. My rule with Disney is book as soon as you pick your dates, and always pick your dates at least a year ahead, book at 11 months. I am planning now for a 2021 trip.

Thanks everyone for the great advice and tips! I will be sure to avoid cheer groups as well as the race weekend. We are picking the week that is book-ended by the race and president's day weekend.

Hopefully we hit it at the right time!
