Default Good Neighbor Hotels Disneyland

Can anyone recommend what hotels if any they have stayed in and are good for families of 6. We are planning for end Of May for 3-4 days.
Do any of them have good views of either park?
Thanks Everyone

Thumbs up

Howard Johnson just north of DL on Harbor Blvd.
Very short walk to the parks. Mimi's restaurant right next door. Reasonable rates.
I don't remember much about the room, but that's a good thing, right?!

I've only stayed at the Park Vue Inn.IMO it is the closest resort to the main gate except for Grand Calif. Rooms are OK. Pretty good breakfast in the morning is included.

I was trying to find it. It must not be a Good Neighbor Hotel because it's not on their list. But I'm not truly sure what that gets me anyway

I've stayed at HOJO - it is good. but if your ages very from young to older kids the pools are tough. the kids pool is away from the regular pool, so made it very awkward and walking back and forth with two kids each wanting to play in a different pool.
if you do HOJO don't do top floor. i was upgraded and thought sweet, but there are 3 huge windows at the top with no curtains and the sun comes in bright and early.
I've stayed at the Best Western directly across the street (on the map it's actually where Select Rent a car is. I love that place. the pool is HORRIBLE so don't plan to swim. but you are literally across the street.
Read reviews. the walk is not bad from HOJO or others. there are actual youtube videos of people who filmed the 9 minute walk, so you can see just how far it is.
another option os stay further away, save money, get a bigger room and just uber to Disneyland. The uber drop lot is great and right at the park entrance on Harbor BLVD. i stayed a mile down the road at hilton and uber there or just uber to "Grand California entrance" and you avoid a lot of traffic and can walk into the park from that hotel.

I have stayed at many of the Hotels on Harbor. A lot of them are not very good, make sure to read reviews on Trip Advisor. I would stick with HOJO (as others have mentioned) or the Marriots.

I really like the Fairfield inn or the Springhill suites. The springhill suites has an awesome complementary breakfast that includes Mickey Waffles just like the parks except better because you can have as many as you like! lol

Is the springhill you are talking about the Convention Center one?
Thanks so much
