They have to look good to sell the fantasy. So yes I care how they look.

It may not be a total loss, just more of a delay. Once the money starts flowing in from Star Wars Land, they should be able to start on other projects again.

I don't want reality intruding into my vacation bubble, thanks!

If Disney Parks is that cash strapped then that's a sad sign. The 2 projects should be separate and not affect the budgeting. I'd think it's more of a priority thing since the video came out of the ride with the open door.

The theater should be in another park to spread out the crowds. Not a great fit for Epcot but Epcot could use anything new and not just retrofitted for IP.

HS has Toy Storyland and the new SW coming. AK just added Pandora last year too.

About time! Hope it's true.

I actually think the design is important. It's an important piece of the Disney park history and asthetics should remain an integral part. First and foremost it needs to operate but having a unique design does not preclude it from working reliably.

I agree - the monorail rolling around the lake is such an iconic item that it needs to work well both practically and aesthetically. Some of the new ones are particularly 'bulky' in my opinion, and I hope they would keep these a bit more 'sleek.'

I guess I haven't seen a monorail I thought looked bad. They all looked kinda cool to me. Now a train or elevated subway type I'd care more about.

The monorails at Disneyland have changed a little over time and it didnt affect my feelings on them. That's kind of what I was thinking about with my comment. Slap some colored stripes and I'll be happy

Disney wouldn't do ugly, would it?!?! I hope not!!! We need that futuristic, Tomorrowland look for sure!
I would be willing to bet that they will be ugly. To someone. They will be futuristic, to someone; retro, to someone; modern, to someone..... and so on and so on.....

In all our 25? trips over the years, only once have we been inconvenienced by their breaking down......

I was stuck on a monorail in the sweltering heat without AC, for what seemed like forever, while they repeatedly rebooted the system. It was not enjoyable.
