2017 pricing...this year prices start at $55 so that means an increase across the board.

Thanks for that! I know we spent more than the package cost as well due to the wine and other extras not included. Honestly, with the way our rooms are booked out (split stay-ish), we will probably pay a couple of nights for deluxe dining and use it for things such as this. We are not always dining plan people, but I seriously have four bottomless pits. Between their ability to consume food and my hopes to use unique meals and experiences to help with escaping crowds, I'm leaning in that direction.

That is the way to go. If we didn't have a TIW card I'd do the very same.

I sure hope that I can get a CP booking and we are at WDW 12/7 -12/18.
I am not a fan of Whoopi Goldberg, but I will take my chances with what is available.

This is why I love DVC. I did a split stay with one night at AKL and booked the DlxDP. Used the 3 credits for a CP meal at Chefs (which was most expensive in 2015) and the F! Package the first night. Was the Fri and Sat after TGiving and it made a nice relaxing start to our 9 day trip. With the bonus of having the mug the entire time.

I dont have the patience to wait in the standby queue! In 2016 I did the Garden Grill breakfast package as it was only $10 or so over normal price. Much easier
to rationalize I was paying $10 for the CP seat!

Wish they would just sell a seat in the reserved section for $10-$15. App, entree, dessert & drink is usually too much food for me to eat all at once.

We went several years ago over Thanksgiving and got the CP package for Rose and Crown. We did lunch and the early seating, since the time had changed, it was dark and it worked out beautifully. Oh, and everyone had a great meal and I had one of the best steaks I've ever had at any WDW restaurant.

We will be dining on the DxDP( one night, split stay) at Epcot in Dec and if it were one credit wed do it but not for 2 credits, no thanks. We saw CP last year and I enjoyed it but my 2 DS both slept thru....

So I am booking it and going with Chefs de France. Only been there once and it's probably a pretty good value.

I am a sucker for it...I'm still fluctuating between a couple of the restaurants. I will find out Tuesday when I book.
