Default What happened to FREE EMH or perks?

I guess I just woke up and realized - there are no more free Extra Magic Hours or extended hours if you are DVC or staying on property? Are there any free perks anymore? Thought staying on property came with some perks. Am I missing something?

They still have EMH at all parks. Not evening ones so much, but every day one park has EMH.

True but they greatly reduced evening EMH and now allow all non Disney hotels at Disney Springs access to EMH too as well as FP+ at 60 days.

EMH and DAH are totally different. EMH is still free and only available to resort guests. DAH is a paid event open to anyone that's willing to pay.

Thank you, think that is where I was getting confused, was lumping them both into one thing. So to get the EMH you simply show up and scan your MB?

Yes, for EMH they verify eligibility by scanning your MB.

There used to be way more EMH offerings. We dont do early and last week there was only 1 late EMH at MK and 1 late EMH at Epcot. That was all there was all week. And freezing cold both nights so we skipped.

Default EMH for studios

Will there still be EMH for the studios once SW:GE. Opens? I wonder if there will be EMH for the general park but not for SW area. Still that would allow huge lines to form around the entrance to that area.

I also expect some sore of early morning access to the area . Perhaps a morning breakfast , Sangria and guaranteed times entrance to the ride once . $200 a person or so. Sadly the event would sell out quickly .
