I agree. We never had a problem with nice cold rooms at Bay Lake.

Yes....there is a "sticky" here on MO that shows you how to bypass the sensor.

I remember that... have to search.
I don't understand why they remove ceiling fans. I really need them to circulate air in rooms that have no windows and no balconies... so hard to pack a fan in my suitcase and get thru security if you know what I mean!
The hallways were freezing cold during our trip mid-July at BLT.
Who pays the utility bill?

We Do!!

I remember when they built BLT with sub par AC and we all complained so much they rehauled the system and now itís set on Alaska!
So BLT should win the prize, it cost us enough.

First thing I do in any hotel is check out the tstat and search for the override.

Once I went so far as to dismantle a through the wall unit, and relocate the temp sensor into a glass of hot water.

We prefer a frigid room

Where is this sticky, and how did I not know about this sooner? Fail on my part!

I need to learn how to bypass the sensor. At home, I set the A/C on "bearable." On vacation I want it cold. Thinking about a room so cold that I need to sleep under the covers brings joy to my soul.
