We wonít be able to do the summer or pull our kids out of school this time, since we are going in the fall of 2019.

Thanks!!!!

Star Wars - Galaxy Edge will be open in late fall 2019. MLK weekend is busy for January, but nowhere near the levels of the Major Holiday weekends.

Just relax and enjoy the trip. You know going in it will crowded. Just do what is a priority for you and the rest of the time just enjoy being at wdw .
do what is best for yourself crowds there will be busy for a while....

I would vote for spring break because I am going MLK weekend also and would like the park to myself...

But seriously MLK weekend Saturday to Monday can be semi crowded, Usually starting Tuesday is usually nice. Who knows in 2020 what any day or week is going to look like LOL.

given when your spring break is, I'd stick to your original plan.

A lot of schools seem to do more days off for a winter break around then.

A lot of public school systems close that week, which means a big increase in WDW crowds.

I agree. I don't know why but in my experience President's Day weekend is c-r-a-z-y busy. It is one holiday weekend I usually avoid.
