The first year I bought one for myself, we had a trip in November and I had a conference the following Spring. So I justified the expense. DH turned it down. I ended up cancelling the conference due to my momís health, but took a solo trip that August. Because I could! Just buy one for yourself and fly solo every once in a while. You wonít regret it!

Definitely an annual pass annually for me, no question whatsoever.

Well sometimes I have to debate Premier Pass with Disneyland as well...

2017 and going into 2018 are very good years for passes.
Gold option; 20% merchandise and dining.

We've been doing two trips per year at 9 days each so for us it has been a good deal. The discounts and other perks are a bonus.

Can't blame you; it's pretty much a tossup at one trip per year, unless it's an unusually short or long trip.

We just bought APs for the first time. Being second class (only having resale points) we bought 4 day tickets with a free 5th day from Visit Orlando and then upgraded them to APs when we got there. So that 7 day trip, plus 4 more days in April, then another 7 days in December makes for a large savings for us. Then throw in the dining and merchandise discounts and it's still a good deal even though we couldn't get the DVC price.

Once you get it though, the renewal makes the price better for one only trips. That's why we renewed this year

If you are like me, you can always justify it if you try hard enough!

I'll be honest, I went for 8 full days at Disney this time to completely justify even if 6 or 7 worked with park hoppers. I am trying to squeeze one day in during our Tampa stay

For us though we do park hoppers and our break even point now is about 6 or 7 days with the renewal prices so I don't feel too guilty.
