I'm doing the Dark Side Challenge (10K and Half) and will be completing the Kessel Run Challenge (did the virtual half at home a few months back).

No DVC room this time though, no points to spare this year! Staying at the Wyndham Bonnet Creek, which I hoped would be the Dolphin per the Hotwire thread last week, but I ended up getting the Wyndham.

This puts me one closer to completing the challenge medal set (Coast to Coast, Kessel Run, and Castle to Chateau). Just need to decide when I want to get to Paris to complete the final challenge medal. I figure they are just waiting for me to complete the set before they add a race in Asia and come up with a fourth challenge medal!

Default Another Runner

I am running the Half on Sunday. I did not register for this race until I completed my first half marathon in January, at Disney of course. This girl realized she could survive something longer than a 5k (the ONLY race I had ever done before January), so I am dressing like R2D2 and tempting fate again!

We no longer run Disney races since they're substantially overpriced for the experience. But, if we are there during races, we do our training runs in the morning and several times I've been doing my last few laps around the Boardwalk after Epcot Resorts Blvd. in the midst of the race. People look at me kinda funny when, instead of going into Epcot, I take a right turn over the bridge

If you are a runner, run with the pack, even if not registered. If not, just avoid the Boardwalk in the morning...

Cheers.
