Unfortunately our flight got cancelled (not for hurricane reasons! Ugh) with no flights available out of MCO we ended up renting a car and drove to Atlanta (only took 12 hours from Orlando! But we made our flight and landed just after midnight. We unfortunately missed MNSSHP last night but as usual Disney exceeded our expectations and refunded our 2 tickets to MNSSHP and since we left 2 days earlier than our intended departure date, gave us our points back for the 2 nights not used (well, we should see them back in our acct within a month)

Ugh, so sorry you missed the Halloween party, but glad you made it back safe and sound. And excellent that everything was handled so well with refunds.

We had a really good time last year, and the addition of FOP should majorly enhance it.

We were at the event....had a nice time. It was our first look at Pandora and it is really impressive at night. We did a night time Kilimanjaro Safari, rode Na'vi River (I really like it), tried the food in the canteen (very good) and stayed for the 11:15 ROL. I thought ROL was "nice" but I wouldn't wait for it again. But I feel that way about Fantasmic, too. I think the awful seating in both places wears on me. But the Moonlight Magic event was great! We don't often get to the special events and we thought it was well done.

Thank you! We went to MNSSHP last year (and loved it!) which is why we were so looking forward to going again this year - but Irma stepped in and changed our plans! Not much we could do about that, just happy we made it out and home.
We can't say enough good things about Disney and how they handled our particular situation - Pixie dust galore!! : Without hesitation we got 2 days points back (although in holding, but we will use them soon) and 100% refund on the MNSSHP tickets! Amazing!! I can't say as much for the airlines that we are fighting with over flight changes and fee's, etc.

Call DVC back. They should credit your points to their original status instead of holding. That's what they've been doing.

It's what they did for me when I had to change the first part of my trip due to Harvey deciding we needed a year's worth of rain in a single weekend. They let me move the points to add to my January trip.

I will call them and hopefully they will take care of that for us - We haven't been disapointed yet!
