Default World of Disney open

So it's open. I was skeptical...I loved the old themes. Like a giant Disney store you went to in the mall.

I have to say all the changes are magic. Totally impressed. When half the store was opened a few months ago it seemed very generic. Like you could sell a car or clothing. Now it's totally amazing with all the effects and theming. So happy with the changes.

I'm one who automatically is against change in wdw. But when it opens I'm totally eating my works and regrets being negative. Thanks wdw for making magic.

Glad you enjoyed, I had meant to visit after it officially reopened last Saturday. Oh well, will do so on my Christmas / New Year’s trip. That should be a good test for whether it can retain its magic, haha...

I miss the giant castle and TV screen in the center. That's where my dad and I would always regroup. When you're waiting for someone, you had something to watch. Now it all feels like a giant warehouse store.

We were suppose to go last Sunday after dinner, but blew it off and after dinner went back to the room and watched a few movies. Like you, we will see the store in December, over Christmas week.

We were there a couple weeks ago, unless they added a lot of theming it felt like a nice outdoorsman/camping store with a lot of Disney product. My wife and I saw no Disney theming to the interior of the store at that time.
We were rather disappointed.

My wife was disappointed as well when we were there last week. She expected something more and commented that she like the old store better.

Yeah my wife is already planning to drag me there in December. I'm glad it came out well. I haven't enjoyed going there for years. I find the same stuff in Emporium and Mouse Gears.

I believe I missed what made it Disney magical other than the merchandise. And the Shop Parks app completely was not showing the proper inventory one of the two main items we visited for was actually not in stock. It's fine and it's a store to shop in from my observation but nothing magical about the store itself that caught my eye.

I hadn't realized it opened such a short while ago so that explains overhearing someone talking about the better line of site and openness. That is a nice improvement over the old layout.
