I got through to D Tech customer service and they were actually really helpful. DH is emailing a photo of himself to the manager and they are going to check to confirm that the face doesn't match the figurine and have the correct one created/mailed. If nothing else, the people on the phone this afternoon were extremely friendly and accommodating.

Glad they are working with you. I would like to get something like that done, but feel if they are having this much trouble then it might not be returning. I have seen this with other 3rd party vendor type things over the year.
I wonder if they were just getting hit with so many request of where is it at, they loaded 1 image and let it fly for everything backlogged lol

Angry mine is wrong too!

Well, count me in as someone else who received the wrong face. I got this for my DH and our 3 DS as a special Father's Day gift. Our first one arrived today and it isn't any of their faces. I am not happy.

Take a picture of the face and private message (PM) SpunkyMouse and see if they recognize the face and they can do the same with the one they received. Unlikely but possible.

We ended up having some success by calling Merchandise Services at Disney. The number we used was 407-393-8324. The number on the packing slip was incorrect (as in literally a 555-5555 number with an area code?!). When we spoke with a manager at disney, she had us take photos of the figurine and send our order number to confirm that the image doesn't match what they have on file. We are still waiting for a reply but there is no way in hades that the figure we got was my husband's face. It looks like it might be more a widespread problem which makes me think that despite the popularity this won't be returning for next year.

I'm picturing myself carrying a huge tray of these figurines... All sorted and put in order of this list I got from Production Control.... And then I trip and the figurines go flying.... Yep... Just put them in any order... Maybe nobody will notice.... LOL (Sorry to you guys going through this, because I know you paid a lot of money for these, but I can't help but laugh at this image....)

I am sincerely disappointed for everyone that is having such a tme with this.

I have decided rather than get this for DH, I will take a pic of the figurine, photoshop DH's face onto it, print the photo, frame it and VOILA! A custom gift that has a very funny story behind it. Avoiding the order disaster altogether!
