I'll only include the stroller if she purchased DVC direct or resale prior to April 4, 2016.

No Discount (DVC or AP) on the adoption fee or the make your own Avatar experience.

The accessories, perch, clips, etc qualify for discount.

The Unobtanium qualified for discount.

DVC AND AP discount is 20% at Windtraders qhicg i thought was great.
They were checking both cards and IDs so make sure you have both.

Amazing that people can't wait for the trip to Disney, so they pay 2x - 4x as much online? or maybe they think it's cheaper to buy one at a premium than actually go to Disney?

People never cease to amaze me

It's way cheaper to pay $200 on Ebay than it is to go to the park and get one. It's not as though everyone who wants one of these is planning to go in the near future. It's a super unique gift in the meantime.

That said, I hope my daughter doesn't get wind of this, because I don't need much of an excuse to plan a trip.

WDWNT.com has some pictures and a video of the adoption.

http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from...&LH_Complete=1

If you look at the sold listings (not sure if the link above will work) They are actually selling for $75-$135. Not a terrible price in my opinion if you are dead set on having one and not making a trip any time soon.

We went to the preview on Saturday at 9 am and while we didn't adopt a banshee my son did get to have his own custom made Na'vi's action figure made of the digital scan they took of him. He was so excited and the presentation they did when they presented it to him was amazing as well.

When I saw the Banshees on the Disney Parks Blog, it reminded me of an item sold at the Texas Renaissance Festival. (As a puppet, that is.) They are handmade and will "perch" on your shoulder as well.
