Default Have A Stupid Question? Brand Spankin' New 2017 Edition

If you have a stupid question to ask, ask it here without fear of reprisal or being told to go use the search button.

It may or may not get answered, depending on who sees it when.

It may be a such good question that someone will suggest you take it prime time and make it its own thread.

You may get a great answer.

Or several!

Or a stupid answer.

Ready....go!

When do they release dates (or have they?) for Mickey's Not so Scary Halloween party? We are going for EPCOT Food and Wine and would like to take the kid's to the Halloween party while we're there.

Not on MDE yet:
"Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party
Select Nights September to October 2017
Polish those pumpkins and plan your costume! Mickey’s annual Halloween spook-tacular promises a frightfully fun evening filled with trick-or-treat thrills ‘n’ chills at Magic Kingdom park."

I think last year it was released 1st via the Disney Parks Blog on March 23rd, 2016. So if it's like last year it will be the end of March this year

Thank you! The dates of last year's sort of help. We had been looking at Labor day weekend and the week following, but weren't sure if we'd hit it that early in September. Looks like we might.

Preliminary operating hours for Sept & Oct are not yet available. Sept hours should be available in a couple of weeks and Oct hours about a month after that. From those preliminary hours, dates can be estimated based on the closing time for the MK.

Tickets for MNSSHP & MVMCP typically go on sale in early May.

Default When is an AP an AP?

Bought the 13 month APs a month ago through MS but have no plans to activate until May.....so are we technically AP holders for discounts and such? Or must they be activated for the extras to be applied?

You need to have it activated to get the extras. You can book a resort with an AP voucher (not yet activated AP) but it has to be activated when you check in for the discount to be valid.

If they actually ask for the pass at check-in and you've haven't yet activated it, they are supposed to give you 24 hours to activate it.
