Default Disconnect Pneumatic closure on entry door

Disney has thier own language . A handicapped roon is ADA compliment .

The doors on dvc rooms have pneumatic closures which mean if you are in a wheel chair or scooter the darn doors close too quickly on you . This can be done simply . Jen has it in her guest record so it is done before she arrives. I plan on calling and asking. I have a regular room this year. Last year my bcv Ada compliment room door opened and closed so slowly even I could get out .

The request is to disconnect the Pneumatic closure on the entry doors. Now I have to lean how to pronounce It.

Thanks for the very helpful information! Wish we knew this for our most recent multi-resort split stay (while traveling with scooter and double and single strollers!).

Itís amazing that Disney would disconnect a piece of safety equipment from the fire door. The reason for the door closer to to ensure the entry fire door is closed to prevent a small room fire from creating a larger hallway fire.
It also keeps occupants safe from fires in the hallway.
Without it, thereís no way to make the door had been properly latched after the door had been opened.

On the other hand, having it attached may make it impossible for a room occupant in a wheelchair to get out in case of a fire.

PVB is good in that it has automatic door openers on the HA rooms. I don't know how they would work if electricity were out but it's definitely a plus for the rest of the time.
