Ugh. I care about the environment, but my kids will spill these all the time. They're clumsy as most kids are...

Your kids? I would spill these! Good thing I donít drink sodas, or Iíd be making messes all over the parks.

We've decided to just get reusable cups to take with us. We'll buy a drink and pour it into our cup that has a lid and straw, will keep the drink cold, is easier to carry around, and be less likely to spill (even vs a paper cup with lid). Sure, it's another thing to carry but they've forced our hands with the removal of lids and straws, which is probably the point in the end.

It is almost certainly the point. Buy their 20 dollar plastic cups that are, of course, somehow more eco-friendly, Iím sure. Then drag them from park to park.

Oh, Iím not buying their cups. There are far better options that have a clip on them to attach to a backpack or belt loop, making them far easier to carry, and wonít cost Disney prices.

How much do I have to pay to go back to the old way?

or maybe if they really cared about the environment, they would allow the resort mugs to be used in the parks...
