I don't like the quality of the furnishings at blt. They already look old and worn, and it hasn't even been open very long. The carpeting also looks sad and worn already. I also dont like how it feels like a regular hotel. It's just missing something for me. I like the location, I guess it's just not my style.

myself i wouldn't be in the market to buy points direct probably ever again. i have points i can use for a cruise or other things... why pay the extra dollars for direct when i don't have to anymore; the difference in price is just to drastic imop.

I can't think of any reasonable scenario where we would make us Day 1 buyers.
GF seems like a lovely hotel, but we have only dined there -- never stayed. Like so many others, we will book it with our other DVC points and give it a test drive. We used the same approach with BLT -- ultimately deciding to pass on any points there. A few lovely stays at GFV and we might be convinced. I can tell you right now, however, that signficant point inflation (likely) or high MFs (TBD) will be deal killers for us. |

Pretty much nothing would make me buy there. I have zero desire to ever stay at GF. Not a fan of the theme or really the location. BLT you can at least walk to MK and Polynesian is an easy walk to TTC. GF has nothing really good in terms of ease of location compared to the other two.
I have little desire to stay at SSR and GF is on that list as well. |

, but I'd add BLT to the list. Both are nice to visit, but I wouldn't want to own there.Polynesian, on the other hand... |
