Oh no, you didn't!!!!! As I recall, I went to MK after the midnight fireworks on Dec 30, 2011, while someone else (who will remain nameless) went back to her room and rested her knee.... I might be old, but I can still party till 3 AM (assuming I take a disco-nap in the afternoon)

Disney allows it so it does not bother me. We've gone to the party at 4 with our tickets. BUt we also have annual passes so if it was a problem we'd use the AP and then the ticket.

I'm sure there are others who won't share this opinion but for me, the herding invades on the magic of the event way more than the lingerers do....
I take a perverse and totally juvenile joy in watching them kick the scofflaws out .

A discussion in another thread got me thinking about the situations below. Without getting into arguments, would these bother you?

1. The holiday parties (MNSSHP/MVMCP) start at 7:00. That's what's on the tickets and website. But Disney always starts letting people in with those tickets at 4:00. Is it breaking the rules / inappropriate to go into the parties before 7:00?

2. Disney often keeps some of the Main Street USA shops open after the park closing hours. In particular, the bakery can be open, with a cast member outside encouraging people to come in and get a snack for the ride home. Is it breaking the rules / inappropriate to buy stuff after stores' closing hours?
It's hard to say. With regard to #2, I always thought the attractions closed but the park's shops were allowed to be open and guests were allowed to be in stores. I've never seen any policy or closing times other than what Disney advertises on a sign that day (or the website).

With regards to #1, they let people in at 4PM, but at 7PM you have to have a wristband to get on any of the attractions. Same is true for the stores. They have CMs there to keep us regular guests out.

Are you trying to link this stuff up to the FP thread? Is that the real point you are trying to make?
